That week with Vday

went great for me.

Monday : My free day from school so I usually meet Justin after his lessons. Thankful for no Monday blues.

Wednesday : I got my stitches removed for my wisdom teeth. The gums are not completely healed but I'm just so glad I finally got my teeth removed (they were a pain to live with). Also, lucky me didn't swell much so I really looked ok even after surgery. I forgot to mention, on the day of my surgery, there was this other guy who was waiting for his turn and coincidentally, his name is Justin hahahahah and after my surgery, the girl who was in the section next to mine - her name is Cheryl. There is no point in that short story but I just wanted to share it hahahah

Then after the removal of the stitches, I went over to SMU to study. I cannot remember if I did much studying though - most probably not.

Thursday : My free day from school! I met my friends (Aud, HR and JR) for dinner. [Before dinner was shopping with Aud to get my craft stuff.] We had thai food at FEP but not at our usual thai food place this time. We had this pandan chicken (something like that), lemon chicken, vegetables, spicy octopus and claypot bean curd and iced thai tea :D

Friday : My longest school day from 9-6 but time passed quickly and I had my friends to keep me company for lunch :D Spent my lunch break with Chen and Aud because she went for the career fair and then went back for lecture and then tutorial and then to meet Justin after school. We had dinner at Bugis and then went back to SMU.

Saturday : VDAY so I spent it with Justin. I spent hours choosing my outfit and gathered advice from a number of friends HAHA because I couldn't decide what to wear - I have too many new dresses.

We had lunch at Yoogane. The kimchi is really nice hahhahaha

Oh I love this video because I think my boyfriend was trying to cook but it didn't seem like much cooking hahahhahahaha :') The vegetables barely moved.

I did not spend this year's Valentine's day with my girl friends. Not saying that it is better or worse in any way but it is definitely something different. I would like to thank my boyfriend for his amazing and adorable gift and also for spending the day (to night) with me despite having had class in the day. I spent the night before Vday rushing out my gift and I'm glad it turned out presentable and not weird because I really had no theme in mind. I just had a lot of different ideas that I wanted to include like chickens and flowers and hearts hahhaha Again, I sought the advice of a few friends to make sure that my gift is passable (so many thanks to the people who helped me with my outfit and my present lolol)

Oh our Vday ended at SMU (again)

and also, I received a compliment from a stranger heehee so yep I'm really happy (to know that I'm not old and unattractive)

++ My friends (and Justin) thought my dress looked nice

Every day is a good day when you/your outfit gets a compliment.

Sunday : I had my reunion lunch with my family and then I was off to SMU to look for Justin. So that is SMU 4 days in a week (more often than me going to NUS). I didn't get much studying done hahaha because I had this tumbler crisis where I tried to make myself coffee but somehow the coffee powder wouldn't dissolve so it was just floating above the water. But anyway, I managed to get my coffee after wasting quite some time running to and fro the toilet to get my tumbler cleaned of coffee stains. After getting my coffee, I thought I could get to studying but I ended up playing Dot Arena.

I hope next week will be good to me because I will not get to see Justin for one week plus :( :(

Ramen weekend

My weekend was a good one because I spent it with some of my favourite people and also because I got to eat ramen!!!!! 

Went CNY shopping with Audrey and HR on Saturday! (How many times do I have to go CNY shopping? hahahhaa) I didn't get anything but well, I wasn't supposed to because it was actually Audrey's CNY shopping so she was supposed to get something and she didn't (so how could I......) We went to Heeren and I saw this set of tableware that was just simply adorable and the kind I'd like to have in my own apartment. They were all colourful and retro-ish. Audrey showed me this fridge she liked and I loved it HAHA It's colourful and small (We should just live together and get our colourful furniture hehe). After a few hours of hanging around in town, we decided to go to Changi to have ramen (as recommended by Hanrui)

I like this ramen better than the one I had today from Butagod - I prefer this kind of noodle. I love the black fungus, the egg cooked this way, the broth and the lean and slightly peppered cha shu.

After our ramen dinner, we spent about 2 hours (?) drinking Koi and having a debate on whether it is important that a guy finds his girlfriend physically attractive and it was me and Aud against HR hahahhaaha

I spent my Sunday doing a bit of studying for Tuesday's test at SMU but it wasn't exactly very productive. I was hungry after studying for just awhile so we had lunch/dinner at Ramen Champion (again) at Bugis Plus but I tried Butagod today since HR preferred that to the one we had yesterday. 

Oooh I love the pork hahahha but that's pretty much it for me because the noodles were yellow and I don't like them to be yellow and the egg was not cooked to my liking :( But it's still not bad and I'm glad I didn't order the one with some porky goodness because that would have been way too meaty for me to finish (^ Justin took the one with unlimited meat and he couldn't find his ramen because the meat >>>>> ramen)

Random fact : Tomorrow will mark 6 months of being together but my boyfriend got to see me in jeans for the first time today LOL

Alright I shall go back to studying for my test! Looking forward to maybe shopping with Audrey and meeting Justin after his lesson and collecting my goods from Dhoby tomorrow - finally, Daigou has a warehouse in town! I find collecting my stuff from town way more convenient than me walking down to collect from Tiong Bahru HAHA

My only school day

Friday is my longest school day of the week but this Friday went by really quickly (maybe also because it's even week so I have 2 tutorials instead of 3). I went for all my lessons - almost skipped stats tutorial because I don't like the tutor but I didn't so that's good. 

Stats tutorial lasted for about 30 minutes so I had about an hour and a half for break before Complex Analysis. I had lunch with Eldora, which I just realised is a first in NUS. The one other time when we hung out with just both of us was during Korea when Hazel went to attend the "party" which we both didn't want to go for and I realised that we actually do have quite a lot of fun hanging out just the two of us. We will talk about the familiar faces in math or laugh at people doing stupid stuff - like today, we realised that we both find two guys particularly annoying, one guy I thought who looked like an orange which E couldn't understand but she knew who I was referring to and another guy who just has an annoying face and voice. Oh we had a quiz for complex analysis today and I think I should do fine for it (I hope). After complex, I left to go town with E because she she was going to collect her specs and I was going to look for Justin. I never knew that Owndays allow you to collect your specs in just 20 minutes and that they're not expensive because they look like they cost a few hundreds.

So, I guess I had a good friday. I like how I always have my boyfriend to look forward to at the end of my longest school day and it certainly makes school hours more bearable. 

My one-day school week

Saturday's dinner.

Soooooo, our dinner on Saturday didn't go exactly accordingly to plan but since I'm almost a week late in updating this post, I guess I will not blog about that any more.

I finally removed my wisdom teeth on Tuesday so this is my one-day school week where my only school day is tomorrow. I can't wait for my school day to end and I feel like I haven't been out in a long while - the last time I was hanging around outside was just Monday when I met Justin after his class and then my classmates for mookata (again). It wasn't a craving or anything. I guess I just wanted to have one last dinner where I'm allowed to bite, chew, swallow freely before the surgery on Tuesday. The surgery went well and I'm not swelling that much. However, I found out that I'm allergic to one/some of the medicine and I had hives this morning and yesterday so I went back to the dental centre again for consultation.

Alright. I just want my school day to be over soon and I can't wait for mornings with hot coffees again.
