(^ That's a Vampire Weekend song I like)
The things I can look forward to in August
- Anniversary day (which coincides with National day). We booked a hotel room and I'm looking forward to shunning the crowd and spending most of the day nuaing in the hotel
- Kodaline concert. I think this was supposed to be the anniversary gift/celebration hahahahah but now it seems like it's an addition to the actual day of celebration.
- MOE application, so finally I can send in an application
I still haven't decided on what to do for my anniversary gift. My initial plan was for us to take the cable car to Sentosa and then have pizza by the beach (that sounds rather nice what. Beaches make everything romantic). Then I decided not to do that because the reviews on the pizza weren't that good. My second plan was for us to order take out and nua in the room and that my gift will be a board game so we can spend the day playing and bonding over games (so we will have alcohol, pizza and board games). Anyway, I decided not to get board game as a gift but still getting board game anyway hahahahah Just so we can have something to play together but not as the anniversary gift. I still have about 2 more weeks to plan? then I am attending Audrey's graduation this Friday (yay more polaroids). I haven't bought any film since my graduation because I used up 3 packs and I'm thinking - I don't get extra films so I can spend less on my polaroids and so I can have more savings from tutoring. My graduation feels like it was long ago. I was not looking forward to that night (not at all), the only part I was looking forward to was seeing all my family and friends and also showing off my dress HAHA (Hey that dress looked nice didn't it. Nevermind I got compliments on it anyway) I'm thankful for my friends who turned up that night because I didn't expect all of them to be there since it was at 10pm and I know everyone has their busy schedules so I was really touched :') Also the gifts I received were sweet and thoughtful and supper was amazingly, unawkward hahahahahha You know how when you have various groups of friends coming together, you think the whole situation might be really tense and awkward with every group just keeping to themselves? I guess it was like that initially but I'm glad that my friends from different groups got talking to each other so it made me feel more comfortable LOL because I didn't know which group I was supposed to stick with so I was just running from group to group and just spamming pictures. Another thing that I'm thankful for is my family finally knows I'm attached. It wasn't easy for me to say because I rarely talk about things that happen in my private life. I'm still trying to adjust and adapt to this whole new thing where my mum knows that I have a boyfriend and I'm hoping that everything will just work itself out smoothly.
I'm rather happy this week because I got to meet Justin 4 times? Once for mookata, another for movie, third was on Saturday where we visited some board game shop in town and went for bak ku teh near my place (This is a huge deal because Justin doesn't like moving from one place to another. Especially since we moved from town to somewhere near my place which is even further from where he lives but I guess that's what makes it sweet and that day a good date. Also, I met Aud, JR and HR that day for our usual gossip sessions so that day went really well) and then movie after my tuition on Sunday.
For this week, I guess I will be keeping myself occupied trying to complete building this miniature dollhouse and tuition and hopefully, some good (romantic and friend) dates.
